The interdisciplinary minor in Ancient Civilization introduces students to the 历史, 文学, 艺术, 哲学, and culture of ancient Greece and Rome. 

Students explore the world of the Greeks and Romans by reading primary texts in 英语 translation and by studying their 艺术 and archaeological remains. Studying the Latin or Greek languages is 不是必需的

The program is recommended for students in any major who want to learn about the ancient world in a coherent program without committing to language study.
